Miroslav is an Intern at the IDMC’s Data and Analysis Department and focuses on monitoring and researching displacement related to conflict and disasters in Africa and the Middle East (Libya, Mozambique, Lebanon, Egypt).
He has a background in European studies, international relationships, systems thinking and system dynamics modelling. He has conducted research in sustainable development area on monetary evaluation of ecosystem services in Mekong flooded forest landscape in relation to LIVES project under Luc Hoffman Institute.
Miroslav holds a Master of Philosophy in System Dynamics from University of Bergen in Norway. He is fluent in English and Czech and has basic knowledge of Norwegian.
