The estimate is based on the information received from the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations. The Ministry maintains a database of registered IDPs. The slight decrease in stock reflects people who have return home and are in process of achieving durable solutions, and have been placed in the Provisional Solutions category. The displacement has been caused by conflict between the Government of Peru and non-state armed actors.
