Almost five years of peace but tens of thousands of war-displaced still without solution

Up to 90,000 of the over 800,000 people forced to flee during Sri Lanka’s civil war (1983- 2009) remain internally displaced, with tens of thousands more having returned home only to face a number of barriers to long-term solutions.
