Nepal: Sustainability of IDP returns undermined by lack of assistance

More than 18 months after a peace agreement between Maoist rebels and the Nepalese government, an estimated 50,000 to 70,000 people displaced by ten years of civil war remain unable to return to their homes. Most are prevented from doing so by unresolved land and property issues, insecurity and a lack of assistance from the government.
