Two years after South Sudan's independence, the scale and seriousness of the country's internal displacement situation remains a major concern. Including hundreds of thousands people displaced by the current crisis since December 2013, IDMC monitoring shows that almost a million people have been newly displaced over the last three years due to ongoing instability.
