Occupied Palestinian Territory: Forced displacement continues

Forced displacement has a long history in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), as both a consequence and root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian/Arab conflict over resources and land. Certain patterns of displacement in their severity and consistency attest to a policy of forced displacement for the purpose of acquiring land, redefining demographic boundaries, and divesting Palestinians of ownership guaranteed under international law.
