Indonesia/Maluku and North Maluku: Support still needed for thousands of people ten years after their displacement
Nearly ten years after the end of the Maluku and North Maluku conflicts, which displaced more than 700,000 people from 1999 to 2002, thousands of families have been unable to recover from their displacement and remain in need of assistance. There is no reliable data mainly because what existed has long been outdated and also because there have been no systematic surveys on the extent to which displaced groups have achieved durable solutions.
