IDMC at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW) 2019

From 4 to 8 February, IDMC was at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW), the flagship event of the Leading Edge Programme by OCHA.

During the five-day event, we welcomed the participants, over 2,000 attending in total, to our stand in the exhibition area. Under the theme 'Innovation in Humanitarian Action', we displayed our two most recent tools: the Disaster Risk Model and IDETECT.

Each day was filled with fascinating and productive interactions, both at our stand and during the several official sessions attended by our staff, including the annual H2H Network meeting, of which IDMC is a member.

HNPW was a unique opportunity to enhance the visibility of our work and promote our tools within the community and to new partners, as well as consolidate existing collaborations with long-term allies. IDMC colleagues learnt from different approaches and were faced with new thinking on important topics.
