GRID 2021

IDMC's Global Report on Internal Displacement (GRID) is the world’s most trusted source of data and analysis on the risk, scale and impacts of internal displacement. This year’s report, which will be released on 20 May, includes a special focus on disaster displacement and the impacts of climate change.

The launch event will take place online from 14:00-16:00 CET. There will be an opening keynote speech by Ms. Sarah Charles, Assistant to the Administrator of USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance and the key findings will be presented by Ms. Alexandra Bilak, Director of IDMC. A panel discussion will follow featuring:

  • H.E. Ms. Fanta Siby, Minister of Health and Social Development of Mali
  • Ms. Asako Okai, UN Assistant Secretary-General, Director of UNDP's Crisis Bureau
  • Mr. Anare Leweniqila, Deputy Permanent Representative of Fiji’s Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva
  • Ms. Alexandra Bilak, Director of IDMC as moderator
